Busy Week

Well, I'm pretty much moved in to my new apartment with Andy now. We're not even close to done unpacking, and we both still have some things at his dad's (he has a lot more there than I do, of course), but we're making a lot of progress. Just today we stocked up on groceries at Sam's Club, put together a filing cabinet and organized everything in it, moved two and a half car loads from one apartment to the other, and unpacked many boxes, among other things. I'm taking Mondays off for the summer, so I can continue to get things done. During the work week I just don't have the energy to come home, make dinner, possibly run errands, and also unpack. I usually just end up sitting in my nice pink recliner and knitting for the rest of the night after dinner and going out.

I'm very happy here. The apartment is gorgeous, Andy's easy to live with, and the people in the complex are mostly quite friendly. I'm trying to freecycle a dining room table and chairs, since that's the biggest thing we're still missing, but otherwise, things are shaping up quite nicely here.
